Professor Tiribelli, known for his studies on the liver and liver diseases, achieved this prestigious milestone thanks to his numerous contributions, which, through innovative research and significant publications, have advanced scientific knowledge in the medical field.
“The ranking compiled by Elsevier,” emphasizes the Scientific Director of the Italian Liver Foundation, based in Trieste at the Area Science Park, “is based on a thorough evaluation of metrics such as the number of citations, the quality of scientific publications, and the corresponding impact factor. This value measures the average number of citations received in the reference year considered by the published articles. It is therefore an indicator of the performance and validity of scientific articles, reflecting the impact (in terms of influence, popularity, and authority) of a publication on the relevant scientific community.”
