Dr. Cristina Bellarosa graduated in Biology from the University of Trieste in 2001. In the same university, in 2005 she obtained the title of PhD in Biomolecular Medicine. In 2009 you obtained the specialization in Clinical Pathology at the University of Udine. Since 2008, Dr. Bellarosa is part of the permanent staff of the Italian Liver Foundation. Since 2003 her research activity has focused on the molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in bilirubin neurotoxicity. More recently, she has also extended your research line to the protective aspects of mild hyperbilirubinemia in metabolic diseases. She plays the role of tutor for international graduates, undergraduates and researchers interested in the field of bilirubin.
