We are pleased to announce that an international collaborative research grant has been awarded for the project titled “A comparative study on the effectiveness of quercetin and sorafenib loaded on UIO-66(ZR) MOF using d-galactose as a targeting agent and coated with carboxymethyl chitosan for liver cancer treatment.” This research initiative is a joint effort between the Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Indonesia, in collaboration with the Fondazione Italiana Fegato (FIF), the University of Trieste (UNITS), and the Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional of Indonesia (BRIN).
The project, proposed by the FIF, involves active participation of Italian and Indonesian researchers, including Prof. Witri Lestari (UNS), Prof. Claudio Tiribelli (FIF) and Dr. Caecilia Sukowati (FIF, BRIN), Prof. Lory Crocè (UNITS), and Dr. Korri El Khobar (BRIN).
This research initiative is conducted within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between FIF and UNS, which was officially signed by Prof. Claudio Tiribelli in Surakarta, Indonesia, on September 11, 2024.
