Siglato nuovo grant di collaborazione internazionale dal titolo:
“Covalent attachment of curcumin into MOFs type MIL-101(Fe)-NH2 and UiO-66-NH2 and its slow release study and biological activities against cancer cells” tra la Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia, insieme alla Fondazione Italiana Fegato ONLUS e all’Università degli Studi di Trieste.
Questo studio è condotto dal Dott. Witri Lestari, Dipartimento di Chimica dell’Universitas Sebelas Maret, coinvolgendo attivamente la FIF (Prof. Claudio Tiribelli e la Dott.ssa Caecilia Sukowati) e il Dipartimento di Medicina, Chirurgia e Scienze della Salute dell’Università di Trieste (Prof. Saveria lory Croce’). Lo scopo dello studio è sviluppare nuovi materiali e strategie basate su strutture metallo-organiche per la somministrazione di farmaci alle cellule tumorali del fegato.

An international collaborative research grant titled :
“Covalent attachment of curcumin into MOFs type MIL-101(Fe)-NH2 and UiO-66-NH2 and its slow release study and biological activities against cancer cells”
proposed by the Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia, together with the Fondazione Italiana Fegato ONLUS and the Università degli Studi di Trieste had been recently approved.
This study is led by Dr. Witri Lestari, Chemistry Department of the Universitas Sebelas Maret, involving active participations of FIF (Prof. Claudio Tiribelli and Dr. Caecilia Sukowati) and Department of Medicine, Surgery and Health Sciences of the University of Trieste (Prof. Saveria lory Croce’). The aims of the study is to develop new materials and strategy based on metal-organic frameworks for the drug delivery to liver cancer cells.
