The Foundation has always focused on international collaborations in order to launch joint projects in the scientific and clinical fields, in particular with Argentina and Indonesia, historical partner countries.
The main focus and mission of the Italian Liver Foundation is to find a molecular-based answer to the solution of the clinical problems observed at the patient's bed and to facilitate the translation of the results on the clinical management of patients: "from the bed side to the bench and back ".
In addition, the Liver Pathologies Clinic contributes to the training of doctors who know how to combine advanced clinical experience with advanced "basic" research.
The Center works in collaboration with the most important Liver Units in Europe and is active in many international educational projects (Argentina, Mexico, Indonesia, Vietnam - among the most significant). It boasts prestigious scientific interactions with the universities of Kansas City, Seattle, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Prague, Vienna as well as with many European centers.
